Muscle function around the hip after operation for Fibrous Dysplasia of Proximal Femur with Varus Deformity

Objectives: This study aimed to analyse the clinical effect of surgery for patients with fibrous dysplasia (FD) proximal femur varus deformity, detect muscle function around hip joint.
 Methods: is a retrospective study. A total 20 who underwent operation FD deformity at West China Hospital, from January 2018 October 2022 were included in this The peak torque (PT) strength during abduction, adduction, flexion and extension bilateral joints was measured by an isokinetic test training system associated comparison joints, evaluate muscles joint after operation.
 Results: difference between length affected limb healthy side 1~2 cm seven cases <1 13 cases. force line showed no abnormality 15 limbs, which deviated center knee 3-5 mm five average PT abduction on significantly lower than that side, also reduced evidently adduction compared side.
 Conclusions: After effective recovery functional abnormalities are still present certain extent.
